First Blog - Just Updates

Hello!

It's been a while since I have updated anyone about Miss Mindful. As of now, I am working on experimenting with new media and keeping myself busy with filling up my sketchbook. To be honest, a lot of my time is spent working my regular job and taking care of the house hold. This is the main reason I closed commissions. It was becoming too much with the free time I had. I realized I did not have enough time to practice my creative side since I was busy drawing what other wanted. Thats not to say I don't like commissions, I plan to figure out a way to do about 4-5 commissions a month, depending on my workload and projects I am working on.

Also, COVID-19 has done a number on us in terms of having freedom to do things outside as well. Staying in has been boring sometimes, but its the least we can do to help stop the spread of this virus which is ravaging our communities and economy. We are firm believers of slowing the spread and have been taking the COVID precautions seriously. If you are interested, I have uploaded some of my designs to RedBubble.com and put some art on masks for large, small and kids faces. I also added some other things to the shop as well.

Any way, today I went to Blick and bought some new goodies to play with. Today's haul included:

POSCA Markers Matte Acrylic Paints (Blick) Dr. Ph. Martin's Radiant Concentrated Water Color

I will experiment with them and show you guys soon. If I were to make a youtube channel of me experimenting and working on art, would you watch? I feel like it would be easier to show everyone via video than posting a bunch of pictures. Either way, I will update again soon.
